CARLSBAD DROP
Design featuring Batiquitos Lagoon, a site with over 8,000 years of history, nestled in the heart of Carlsbad. Before European settlement, the area around Batiquitos Lagoon was inhabited by the Kumeyaay people. The lagoon and surrounding lands were integral to their way of life, providing resources such as fish, shellfish, and plants. The lagoon's ecological richness supported their subsistence and cultural practices.
